Mi vida está atravesada por la falsa dicotomía entre el arte y la ciencia. En algún momento tuve que elegir y, con muchos titubeos, elegí la segunda. Por allí anduve y llegué a convertirme en investigadora, pero había un vacío…
Descubrir la ilustración primero, y la comunicación después, me permitieron construir un puente entre disciplinas y amores: biología, escritura, dibujo. Sobre ese puente elijo habitar.
Actualmente trabajo en el Centro Regional de Estudios Genómicos (CREG, UNLP), donde estoy a cargo del LaIluCó (Laboratorio de Ilustración y Comunicación de la Ciencia).
Soy Lic. En Genética (UNaM, Misiones), Dra. en Cs. Naturales (UNLP) y Comunicadora Científica en formación (estudiante avanzada de la ECPCyT, UBA). Mi formación plástica ha sido fuera de la academia, en cursos y talleres, generales y específicos.

Discovering illustration first, and communication later, allowed me to build a bridge between disciplines and loves: biology, writing, drawing. On that bridge I choose to dwell.
Currently I work at the Regional Center for Genomic Studies (CREG, UNLP), where I am responsible for the LaIluCó (Laboratory for Illustration and Communication of Science).
I am a Genetician (UNaM, Misiones), PhD. in Natural Sciences (UNLP) and Scientific Communicator in training (advanced student of the Post-graduate Specialization ECPCyT, UBA). My artistic training has been outside the academy, in general and specific training courses and workshops.
